Our Ensembles
At the Dorian String Quartet we understand that every wedding is unique, so we offer two ensembles to meet your wedding needs.
String Quartet
Our most popular ensemble contains two violins, one viola, and one cello. The quartet has an extensive repertoire from classical, to jazz standards, pop, and classic rock. The quartet’s sound is equally suited to a small garden or a large cathedral wedding. This ensemble is the perfect choice for your ceremony and sets a festive, elegant atmosphere for your reception.
String Trio
This ensemble contains two violins and one cello. The trio produces a lovely sound that is perfect for smaller performance venues and more modest budgets. Many describe the trio’s sound as light and beautiful, which makes it well suited for wedding ceremonies and smaller cocktail hours.
Wedding Packages
Classic Ceremony Package
A terrific way to make your grand entrance. The Dorian String Quartet will begin playing prelude music twenty minutes prior to your ceremony (as your guests arrive), for your processionals, during your ceremony, and as your exit the ceremony as a married couple!
Ceremony & Cocktail Hour Package
Our most popular package includes everything in the Classic Ceremony Package, plus one hour of The Dorian String Quartet performing as your guests enjoy your cocktail hour. A great way to set an upbeat, elegant atmosphere for your reception!
Ceremony & Extended Cocktail Hour Package
This package includes the Classic Ceremony Package, plus 90 minutes of The Dorian String Quartet performing for your extended cocktail hour. We will make sure to keep your cocktail hour lively and your guests entertained!
